携程2026暑期欧洲入境订单里，张家界占比16.3%，力压上海，跻身全国第二，仅次于北京。数字的背后，是一场跨越9000公里的双向奔赴。

数字从不撒谎，热度能否感知？记者带着这份沉甸甸的数据，走进天门山，走近高铁站——山间栈道、站台长廊，金发碧眼的身影随处可见。记者邂逅了远渡重洋的欧洲游客，也遇见了来自美洲、澳洲的远客。

我们走近这些万里而来的国际旅人，听他们亲口道出，是什么牵引着他们来到张家界？是独一无二的山水奇景，是当地人的热情友善，是日渐完善的国际化旅游服务，也是海外社交平台上频频刷屏的“出圈”瞬间……

从韩国游客“长”在奇峰之上，到西欧游客纷至沓来，“国际张”正用无法复刻的山水语言，把大美湖南，讲给世界听。

A single set of data has put Zhangjiajie in the spotlight once again.

According to Ctrip's 2026 summer inbound booking data from Europe, Zhangjiajie accounts for 16.3%, surpassing Shanghai to rank second nationwide, only after Beijing. Behind the numbers lies a mutual journey spanning over 9,000 kilometers.

Numbers don't lie — but can the heat be felt? With this telling data in hand, our journalist ventured into Tianmen Mountain and to the high-speed railway station. Along the mountain plank walks and station corridors, foreign faces were everywhere to be seen. We encountered European travelers who had crossed oceans, as well as visitors from the Americas and Australia.

We approached these international travelers from thousands of miles away and asked them firsthand: what draws them to Zhangjiajie? Is it the one-of-a-kind mountain-and-water wonders? The warmth and friendliness of the locals? The increasingly seamless international travel services? Or the breathtaking moments that keep going viral on overseas social platforms?

From Korean tourists practically "living" on the soaring peaks to Western European visitors arriving in growing numbers, "International Zhangjiajie" is telling the story of stunning Hunan to the world — in a language of mountains and waters that simply cannot be replicated.
