Beidou in Zhuzhou | How can Beidou check over 3600 kilometers of power lines at a glance? 3600

As temperatures rise in summer and power demand surges, transmission lines tend to sag. This reduces the safe clearance between wires, trees and buildings, creating potential safety hazards.

Here in Zhuzhou, we have more than 3 thousand 6 hundred kilometers of transmission lines above thirty-five kilovolts. It is slow and inefficient to rely on drones and human patrols to check all of that.

Nowadays, the State Grid Zhuzhou Power Supply Company has adopted the Beidou Remote Sensing System, which allows for a high-resolution satellite scan, providing a comprehensive view of the transmission channels thousands of miles away.

But that's not all. The system doesn't just take a picture. It's smart enough to find seven kinds of problems by itself — like trees, buildings, and other obstructions . Then it automatically generates a full risk report, dispatches work orders, and makes sure every issue gets handled precisely.
