Hunan Museum to Extend Opening Hours During Summer Vacation

As summer vacation is just around the corner, Hunan Museum will be open to the public during summer nights.

Recently, Hunan Museum announced that during the summer vacation period from July 1 to August 31, the museum will extend its opening hours daily until 20:30.

The new admission slot from 17:30 to 19:30 will add 5,000 reservation spots per day, available exclusively to individual visitors.

Two major permanent exhibitions of "Hunanese—Exhibition of Hunan History and Culture" and "Changsha Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tombs Exhibition," along with the special exhibition titled "Dunhuang—A Great Cultural Treasure" and the exhibition titled "Two Masters of the North and South—The Art of Qi Baishi and Fu Baoshi," are currently on display.

The VR exhibition of "Lady Xinzhui's Banquet" is also an exciting experience, taking you back to the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC-25 AD) in an instance to solve a mysterious case.

Due to a surge in visitors during the vacation, those planning a visit are reminded to make a real-name reservation at least seven days in advance.
