On June 21, the concrete pouring operation for the precast beams on the third section of the Changsha–Liuyang Maglev Express Line is ongoing at the Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, marking a full transition from substructure to superstructure construction across the entire line. The Changsha–Liuyang Maglev Express Line project is progressing under a master plan with phased construction. The first phase—from Changsha Huanghua International Airport to Liuyang's Jili Neighborhood—has a total length of 39.52 kilometers and will be connected with the existing Changsha Maglev Express Line for seamless operation. The line is scheduled to open to traffic in 2029. By then, the travel time from Liuyang to Changsha Huanghua International Airport will be shortened to only 25 minutes, and to Changsha South Railway Station to 43 minutes.
