Located at the intersection of Laodong West Road and Xiangjiang Middle Road in Tianxin District, Tank Changsha (1936) boasts a history of nearly 90 years. In its early days, it served as a core hub for oil supply in downtown Changsha, carrying the industrial development memories of the city. After undergoing renovation and upgrading, the factory shed its industrial production attributes. Leveraging its riverside location advantage, it blends nostalgic industrial aesthetics, trendy cultural creativity, art exhibitions, and leisure business formats. The old factory has been transformed into a new riverside urban landmark that preserves urban nostalgia and a newly popular spot for Changsha's cultural tourism. "Drinking coffee or watching art exhibitions here is very pleasant! Using nostalgia and childhood memories to forge emotional connections, this experience can also resonate with overseas Chinese compatriots," said a deputy general manager of Uzbekistan's Chinese website. She noted that Tank Changsha (1936), through the innovation of visual art and the integration of industrial culture, impressed her a lot. It not only attracts Chinese people but can also touch overseas individuals, awakening a shared emotional gene in everyone."

It's somewhat similar to Canada's flaxseed oil factories, but Tank Changsha (1936) is very trendy," said an associate editor-in-chief of Canada's CCTVmedium. She explained that Canada's flaxseed oil factories first addressed pollution before transitioning into public community facilities. Tank Changsha (1936) actively integrates with trendy art and youth fashion, allowing the old factory site to return to the city, benefit residents, and embrace the youth—a more vivid example of urban scene renewal.
