Aesthetic education works such as bamboo weaving, tie-dyeing, and pottery were splendidly displayed at Changsha Experimental Primary School-Malanshan Cultural and Creative School. Secretary Wu carefully observed student works, learned about aesthetic education, book-themed campus initiative, and the construction of the children's meeting room, and affirmed the school's achievements in characteristic education. She encouraged children to bear in mind President Xi Jinping's earnest teachings and strive to be good youths of the new era who love the Party and the country, are diligent and eager to learn, and develop comprehensively. Secretary Wu urged the school to innovate teaching models, build distinctive brands, continuously improve educational quality and the quality of talent development, enhance the core competitiveness and comprehensive carrying capacity of the area, and attract young people to stay, innovate, and start businesses in Changsha. She emphasized strictly and meticulously managing campus safety, focusing on students' mental health education, and solidly advancing the construction of safe campuses.

On May 29, Mayor Chen visited Yangtianhu Experimental School in Tianxin District, to extend festive greetings to children and inspect campus food safety.

Mayor Chen arrived at Yangtianhu Experimental School in Tianxin District, where he gained a detailed understanding of the school's development in physical, aesthetic, and labor education. He took part in activities with the children, wishing them a happy holiday and hoping they would soon become pillars of the nation. He asked departments at all levels to adhere to the principle of "viewing the city from a child's perspective." He called for ensuring every child can thrive under the sunshine and rain and sprint toward the future, making child-friendliness a warm foundation of Changsha as a city of happiness. Mayor Chen also inspected food safety at the school canteen, meticulously checked safety risks around the campus, and stressed the need to holistically address traffic safety and drowning prevention, weaving a tight safety net for campus protection.
