The Malanshan Micro Drama Industry Ecosystem Matchmaking Conference was held in Changsha on May 13, 2026. It was learned that Malanshan has partnered with the Douyin Group to fully commit to building a national hub for innovation in the micro drama industry and a model for the integration of technology and culture. The two parties will deepen cooperation in areas such as high-quality content creation, AI integration, and global distribution, jointly establishing a green channel for the international expansion of micro dramas.

As a national video and cultural creativity industrial park jointly established by the central and the provincial governments, Malanshan has built a complete micro drama industrial chain spanning IP incubation, filming and production, technical support, market distribution, and global expansion. The park has launched the "0731" Ecosystem Co-construction Initiative, to integrate the entire value chain of IP, computing power, copyright, and global expansion. Thanks to advancements in AI technology, micro drama production costs have been reduced to one-third of their original levels, while efficiency has increased by five to ten times. Some works have already been exported to five countries, demonstrating proven commercial success.

A spokesperson from the Douyin Group introduced that Douyin has built a strong competitive edge in such areas as short video content distribution, user engagement, and monetization. The group plans to deepen its comprehensive cooperation with Malanshan by opening up its platform traffic, technology, and commercial resources to empower Hunan-based short video production companies. Both sides will jointly drive the industry toward high-quality development characterized by high production standards and industrialization.
