Skilled on the pitch and appreciative of fine food, a delegation of former players from University College Dublin visited Hunan, experiencing its local culture and sampling traditional cuisine.

湘菜鲜辣醇厚､风味独特，浓郁的本土风味深受爱尔兰友人的喜爱，也让他们真切感受湖南满满的烟火⽓｡

Hunan cuisine, known for its bold, spicy and rich flavours, was well received by the Irish visitors, offering them a vivid sense of the warmth and vitality of everyday life in the region.

美食为媒，风味搭桥。一场美味的双向碰撞，拉近中爱两地距离，让跨越山海的友好情谊，在烟火美食中持续升温｡

Food serves as a medium, and flavour as a bridge. This culinary exchange has brought China and Ireland closer, allowing a friendship that spans continents to grow stronger through shared experiences.
