On the morning of April 14, the newly established Hunan Culture, Sports, and Tourism Industry Group Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated in Changsha. Mao Weiming, deputy secretary of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and governor of the People's Government of Hunan Province, attended the ceremony and unveiled the plaque.

Liu Hongbing, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee, and Wang Wei'an, secretary general of the People's Government of Hunan Province, also participated.

Established in January 2026, the Hunan Culture, Sports, and Tourism Group is a large provincial-level cultural enterprise formed through merging the former Hunan Sports Industry Group Co., Ltd. and the Hunan Tourism Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd. This restructuring was carried out by the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Hunan Province to thoroughly implement the major strategy of integrated development in culture, sports, and tourism. The Group is positioned as a chain master enterprise for the integrated development of Hunan's culture, sports, and tourism industries. It is committed to serving as the province's primary platform for the integration and utilization of cultural, sports, and tourism resources, for the operation of sporting events and festivals, as well as for investment and construction management.

The Group aims to be a pacesetter for deep integration of these industries, a vital force promoting Hunan culture, and a provider of a better life for the people. The Group comprises more than 170 subsidiaries and affiliated entities, including Huatian Group, Tiantan Media Group, and HNFRSID, with a workforce of over 11,000 employees. Its core businesses encompass the integration, development, and utilization of culture, sports, and tourism resources; the production and dissemination of sports media content; the investment, construction, and operation of sports venues and facilities; and hotel management and operations.

The Hunan Culture, Sports, and Tourism Group will focus on deepening the integration of culture, sports, and tourism, underpinned by brand-driven services and innovation. The Group will promote the platform-based integration of resources, the intelligent operation of business, and the capitalized management of assets, striving to become a first-class domestic investor, operator, and service provider in the integrated culture, sports, and tourism sector. On the new journey of implementing the 15th Five-Year Plan, the Group will demonstrate greater responsibility and play an even greater role in fulfilling the new cultural mission in the new era.
