Thanks to the continuous expansion of China's visa-free partnership network, 19,724 foreign nationals entered the country visa-free via Changsha Port in Q1. The figure accounted for nearly 40% of the total number of foreign inbound travelers, making it a key driver of growth in inbound tourist flow.In recent years, Changsha has vigorously expanded its inbound tourism market by introducing promotional measures, conducting targeted global marketing campaigns, deepening cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao, Southeast Asia, Europe, and other regions, collaborating with the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta regions, and tapping into the secondary tourist flow from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hainan. The city aims to establish itself as the top choice for inbound tourism among provincial capitals in central China and as the "second destination" in China for inbound tourists.

In particular, during the first quarter, the "Happy Changsha, Charming Start City" cultural and tourism flagship store officially opened in Hong Kong, marking a significant step forward for Changsha in expanding its reach into international markets. Additionally, the "CNY Symbols: Joyful Taste of Changsha" Global Influencer Tour was also held, with travel influencers from ten countries showcasing Changsha's charm to the world.Currently, Hunan's airports officially began implementing new schedules for the summer-autumn air transport season. The Changsha Huanghua International Airport now operates approximately 160 international passenger flights per week, up 25% year on year. The passenger traffic at the Changsha port is expected to reach new heights.
