On March 27, the Changsha Spring Cultural and Tourism Promotion Event was held in Kaihui Town, Changsha County. Changsha will launch over 100 cultural and tourism activities and unveil five flower-themed cultural and tourism routes. The initiative aimed to comprehensively integrate diverse sectors such as agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce, injecting new vitality into cultural and tourism consumption during spring season.


Since the beginning of this year, Changsha County has been actively advancing the integration of agriculture, culture, and tourism, introducing new consumption scenarios such as "flower viewing + dining," "flower viewing + educational tours," and "flower viewing + sporting events." By attracting visitors through floral observation and boosting local industries through tourism, the county expected to welcome 2.05 million visits this spring, generating tourism revenue of 2.43 billion CNY.

A signing ceremony was also held at the session. The Changsha County Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television, and Sports signed agreements with the Shaoshan Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Television, and Sports and the Shaoshan Bureau of Commerce. They will jointly promote the interconnection of red or revolutionary heritage resources and the leveraging of complementary strengths between the two regions. A series of major cultural and tourism projects in Kaihui Town were officially signed, including a bookstore cultural and tourism scenario, a chili pepper themed agritourism project, a wellness retreat community, and a cultural and tourism community upgrading project.


A spokesperson from the Changsha Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, and Radio and Television noted that more than 100 cultural and tourism events will be held across the city this spring, including flower and tea markets, fun runs, concerts, art exhibitions, and cultural performances. This will leverage immersive experiences and industrial collaboration to transform the city's "visual appeal" into "market value," thereby continuously invigorating the spring cultural and tourism market.
