On January 14, Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, inspected the development of the private economy in Changsha. She emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement President Xi Jinping's important discourse on developing the private economy and optimizing the business environment. Efforts should be made to proactively provide services, precisely align with enterprises' needs, help them tide over difficulties, and gather momentum to empower their development. Meanwhile, the business environment should be continuously improved to boost the healthy, high-quality development of the private sector.

During every site visit, Secretary Wu Guiying carefully listened to enterprises' feedback and suggestions regarding the business environment. She stressed that the private economy is a vital engine for Changsha's economic growth and a key force in innovation and entrepreneurship. She called on government departments at all levels to foster a close yet clean new-type relationship with businesses, accurately understand enterprise needs, and provide tailored, high-quality services. The focus should be on enterprises' critical needs, including R&D and innovation, talent recruitment, and market expansion. It is necessary to enhance the implementation of policies and adopt inclusive and prudent regulatory approaches, so that private enterprises can invest with confidence and develop their businesses free from undue concern.
