On January 8, Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, participated in a discussion with members from the Joint Group One at the Fifth Session of the 13th Changsha Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

She listened attentively as CPPCC members offered proposals and suggestions on the themes of economic development and scientific and technological innovation. Wu expressed her hope that CPPCC organizations at all levels in the city and their members would leverage their strengths, fulfill their duties conscientiously, and actively engage in Changsha's practice of high-quality development, shouldering responsibilities in serving the overall development of the city.

Chen Gang, chairperson of the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee, presided over the group meeting. Also in attendance were Liu Xinliang, secretary of the CPC Leadership Group of the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee, and municipal leaders Zou Te, Zhou Fan, Peng Tao, Zheng Ping, Chen Jianwen, and Liu Jinwen.

During the discussion, CPPCC members including Yang Depin, Shen Zhihua, Zhang Di, Cui Huimin, Jiang Libo, Xia Feng, Dai Ting, Cao Kun, Zeng Yanrong, and Zhang Maiyu made suggestions on developing digital economy, building innovation consortia, enhancing pilot-scale testing service capabilities, facilitating deep integration of talent and industrial chains, and promoting Hunan cuisine to go global. Secretary Wu Guiying listened carefully to their comments and urged relevant departments to absorb, adopt, and put them into practical use.
