Recently, Changsha Yuefeng Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yuefeng Agriculture") officially signed a cooperation agreement with Ross Farm in Kenya to jointly develop a 600-mu (approximately 40-hectare) vegetable cultivation base in Nairobi City, Africa. This marks the first large-scale foray of vegetable cultivation technology from Ansha Town, Changsha County into the East African market.
近日,长沙市越丰生态农业有限公司(以下简称“越丰农业”)与肯尼亚罗斯农场正式签订合作协议,将在非洲内罗毕共同开发600亩蔬菜种植基地。这标志着来自长沙县安沙镇的蔬菜种植技术首次规模化走向东非市场。

From initial contact to official signing, the two parties finalized the cooperation in just 45 days. Currently, Yuefeng Agriculture has invested over one million yuan in purchasing agricultural machinery such as tractors and rotary tillers, as well as greenhouse materials, and has completed the seed export formalities.
从初步接触到正式签约,双方仅用45天便达成合作。目前,越丰农业已投入百万元采购拖拉机、旋耕机等农机设备及大棚材料,并办妥种子出口手续。

A technical team from the company is expected to arrive in Africa after the 2026 Chinese Spring Festival to launch the first phase of 200-mu (about 13-hectare) chili pepper cultivation. The harvest is anticipated in May 2026, with an estimated annual output of over 800,000 kilograms. In addition to chili peppers, the base will also conduct trial plantings of Chinese cabbage, kale, radishes and other vegetables to better gauge local market demand.
预计春节后,技术团队将赴非开展首批200亩辣椒种植,明年5月即可收获,年产量有望突破80万公斤。除辣椒外,基地还将试种大白菜、甘蓝、萝卜等品种,进一步探索当地市场需求。
