The 2025 Hunan Foreign Trade Characteristic Industry Supply and Demand Matchmaking Conference (Shaoyang Special Session) was recently held in Shaoyang City. Deng Luoxing, member of the CPC Leadership Group and vice chairperson of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Hunan Sub-council, and Luo Yumei, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shaoyang Municipal Committee, attended the event and delivered speeches. The conference was hosted by the CCPIT Hunan Sub-council and the CCPIT Shaoyang Branch.

At the event, purchasers from 19 countries, including Russia, Switzerland, and Nigeria, engaged in face-to-face negotiations with Shaoyang-based enterprises. On behalf of the global buyers present, a spokesperson for the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI) presented procurement needs to the Shaoyang enterprises. The Ugandan official expressed high regard for Shaoyang's hardware, luggage, hair accessories, and lighter industries, hoping to identify long-term suppliers with stable inventory.

The negotiation session featured a lively atmosphere and yielded fruitful outcomes. Forty-one overseas buyers and five cross-border e-commerce platforms conducted over 100 rounds of targeted business matching sessions with 45 local enterprises from Shaoyang. These sessions focused on key industries such as hardware, luggage, hair products, lighters, ethnic costumes, food, and traditional Chinese medicinal materials. Over 10 pairs of partners, including the Shaoyang Sunshine Luggage Co., Ltd. and the Moroccan buyer Hamza Samhoun, reached preliminary cooperation intentions on-site.

Following the meeting, the delegation of buyers visited companies including the Asia Fuji Elevator Co., Ltd and the Sany Special Purpose Vehicle Co., Ltd.
