26th CCHAE Concludes with over 600 Million CNY On-site Sales

The 26th Central China (Hunan) Agricultural Expo (CCHAE) concluded on November 17, 2025. The organizing committee reported a total of 189,000 visits to the expo. Among them were nearly 60,000 professional attendees and buyers. And the event recorded on-site sales exceeding 600 million CNY.

There were more than 3,500 enterprises from 17 provinces, cities, and counties, as well as 15 countries showcasing nearly 30,000 varieties of agricultural products at the 26th CCHAE. Alongside traditional local specialties like Jianbing Guozi or Chinese crepes from Tianjin and Linwu duck from Chenzhou, visitors discovered emerging domestic delicacies such as Turpan salmon and eucommia noodles, and international offerings including Thai jasmine rice, Vietnamese coffee, and South African spirits—enabling one-stop shopping for global flavors. In the New Productive Forces Exhibition Area, innovative achievements in four core fields—smart seed industry, smart agricultural machinery, smart fisheries, and smart animal husbandry—were showcased. Modern agricultural technologies like AI-powered fish farming, automated pig feeding systems, and robotic weeders offered visitors a fascinating glimpse into the future of agriculture.

CCHAE, after more than 20 years of development, has grown into a vital platform for facilitating resource matchmaking and attracting investment. At the expo, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Hunan Province hosted an investment promotion conference for Hunan's green agricultural products and food processing industrial chain, securing project agreements worth approximately 10 billion CNY. Additionally, eight specialized promotion sessions organized by various cities, prefecture, and associations resulted in signed agreements totaling 1.838 billion CNY. Within the international exhibition area, the Vietnam Pavilion stood out prominently. Premium exhibits including coffee, cashews, curry, and tropical fruits were presented collectively. On-site transactions totaled 260,000 CNY, with a 54 million CNY cashew order secured and connections established with over 100 prospective clients.

Both offline and online markets saw vibrant consumption. CCHAE organized over a hundred internet influencers and live-streaming experts to take turns appearing online, releasing hundreds of short videos and hosting more than 40 live-streaming sessions. The cumulative exposure of these live-streaming videos exceeded ten million views, with sales reaching 34.105 million CNY.
