In recent years, seizing the opportunity presented by the Changsha Disabled Persons' Federation's program, the Wangcheng Disabled Persons' Federation has strived to build disability-friendly communities, carrying out barrier-free renovations in community offices, public activity spaces, and residential neighborhoods. These improvements help address the critical "last meter" challenge for disabled residents' travel. Additionally, the federation has actively coordinated with local medical institutions, schools, and enterprises to provide services in health management, vocational training, and employment for people with disabilities, helping them step out of their homes and engage with the wider community.
