Currently, Changsha County is accelerating the comprehensive utilization of crop straw while advancing autumn harvest operations. By turning straw into valuable products like animal feed, mushroom substrate, and fertilizer, the local authority is not only reducing waste but also protecting the environment. To date, two straw collection, storage, and transportation centers and 17 collection points have been established, covering the county's major agricultural towns and achieving "nearby collection and on-site conversion" of straw.
