F：This silk scroll lists only eleven meridians, yet today we talk about twelve or even fourteen. Were the ancients wrong?

这幅帛书只列了十一条经脉，可今天我们讲十二甚至十四条，古人错了吗？

S：Not wrong—just earlier. The scroll maps six leg meridians and five arm meridians, all flowing centripetally. Later physicians added the Ren and Du channels and refined the pathways.

并非错误，只是更早。帛书画了六条下肢脉、五条上肢脉，全部向心而行；后人补充了任督二脉并细化了路线。

F：Does that change where you place the needles now?

那会影响你们现在的取穴吗？

S：We still needle along these original lines, but we add distal points the Han texts hadn’t yet mapped.

我们仍沿这些原始线路行针，只是补充了汉代尚未标记的远端穴位。
