On October 28, Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee met in Changsha with Tsai Eng-meng, chairman of the Want Want Group and his entourage.

Secretary Wu Guiying, on behalf of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and the Changsha Municipal People's Government, expressed gratitude to the Want Want Group for its long-standing contributions to Changsha's economic and social development. She briefed the guests on the city's latest progress in economic and social development. She noted that the Want Want Group, a leading enterprise in the global food industry, has been deeply rooted in Changsha for over 30 years, delivering fruitful cooperation outcomes. She hoped that both sides will continue to deepen exchanges, expand collaboration, and accelerate project implementation, jointly creating a bright future. Changsha will always uphold the concept of "The people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait are members of one and the same family," and provide high-quality and targeted services to support Taiwan compatriots, entrepreneurs, and youth in their work, life, investment, and business endeavors in Changsha.

Tsai Eng-meng thanked Changsha for its strong support for the Want Want Group. He stated that the group will further strengthen communication and coordination to advance project construction, contributing to mutual understanding between people across the Strait and cross-Strait exchanges and cooperation.
