Construction of Changsha West High-speed Railway Station in Full Swing

The metal roof cladding of the Changsha West High-speed Railway Station under construction has been basically completed. With 16 platforms and 30 track lines, this new railway station is estimated to handle 20.2 million passenger trips annually. Upon operation, it will connect with Hohhot-Nanning, Beijing- Kowloon, Shanghai-Kunming, and Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway lines. The station will be of strategic significance to driving regional economic growth, boosting integrated development of the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan metropolitan area, enhancing Hunan's further opening up, and advancing the rise of central China.
