Linxiang City is located at the Hunan-Hubei border area along the southern bank of the Yangtze River and the eastern side of the Dongting Lake. Linxiang boasts an extensive network of rivers and lakes, as well as a long-standing fishing and hunting culture. Leveraging its unique geographical advantages and industrial foundation, the city has vigorously developed its fishing float industry, gradually forming a complete industrial chain that integrates raw material supply, machinery manufacturing, fishing float production, printing and packaging, e-commerce logistics, as well as production services.Currently, Linxiang is home to over 3,130 market entities in the fishing float sector, including 74 large-scale enterprises with 60,000 workers involved. In 2024, the industry's total output value exceeded 8.5 billion CNY, with products exported to more than 30 countries and regions.
