The second Hunan-Jiangxi Artistic Fireworks Invitational Competition will take place at the Liuyang Sky Theater from April 19 to 20. Four top-level fireworks teams from Hunan and Jiangxi will stage pyrotechnic shoot-outs along the Liuyang River, bringing a wonderful visual feast to the audience.

In addition, stunning fireworks shows will also be put on at the opening and closing ceremony of the competition. The shows will be arranged and presented by Asia-Pacific Fireworks, a Liuyang-based fireworks company.

At the opening ceremony, a fireworks show titled "Hunan-Jiangxi Blooming Flowers" will display water-land-air 3D scenes through floating platforms and columns, offering an immersive romantic experience to spectators. Beyond that, the show "China-chic Style" will integrate traditional Chinese elements such as dragons, phoenixes, flowers and birds, and landscapes into fireworks. The combination of lighting, music, and fireworks will create a unique audio-visual effect.
The closing ceremony will feature two original artistic fireworks melodramas titled "Fireworks, the God of Beauty" and "Azaleas Bloom Again". Each show will last for 15 minutes. With Liuyang's local characteristics and culture as the main line, fireworks are weaved into the storyline of the melodramas.

The competition still adopts an enterprise-organized, market operation-oriented, and self-financing mode. Comprehensive improvements have been made in stage design, lighting effects, and fireworks scale, aiming to create a brand new competitive platform.
