The fifth China Fireworks and Firecrackers Expo and the 2024 Liling Fireworks and Firecrackers Trade Fair will take place between April 29 and May 1 at China Ceramic Valley International Convention and Exhibition Center in Liling City, Hunan Province. Industry representatives from across the country and purchasers from home and abroad will participate in the events.

The expo features three pavilions, with an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters and attracting more than 100 exhibitors. It aims to promote the inheritance and innovative development of Liling's fireworks and firecrackers industry and build a comprehensive fireworks trade and exhibition platform. Production and sales will be better coordinated to boost sustainable and high-quality development of the sector. Urban brand, publicity, and influence will be further enhanced to push forward integrated development of culture and tourism.

Sixteen activities will be arranged, including six major events, six theme events, and four events to woo visitors.

The six major events are:

- the opening ceremony of the exhibition hall of the fifth China Fireworks and Firecrackers Expo and the 2024 Liling Fireworks and Firecrackers Trade Fair, and an exhibition hall tour of distinguished guests;

- the inauguration ceremony of the expo;

- a matchmaking conference on the exports of fireworks and firecrackers;

- a summit forum on eco-friendly fireworks;

- a media briefing; and,

- a new Liling fireworks products press conference.

The six theme events are:

- celebrations by one hundred enterprises to memorate firecracker founder Li Tian;

- an appreciation dinner;

- a porcelain culture- and fireworks-themed live-action show;

- choosing free or on-sale ceramic products;

- a food tasting; and,

- trade and exhibition of fireworks and firecrackers.

The four events to woo visitors are:

- a treasure hunt;

- savoring fried rice noodles and local food free of charge, enjoying free accommodation, choosing free ceramic products, and setting off fireworks free of charge;

- a live show; and,

- photo and short video contests.

The second Liling Fried Rice Noodles Festival will be held from May 1 to 3.
