Chating Flower Sea Culture and Art Festival to Open on March 15

In March, canola flowers are in full bloom at Chating Town, Wangcheng District, Changsha. The 4th Chating Flower Sea Culture and Art Festival is scheduled to open on March 15 (Friday), alluring tourists to admire flowers and have fun.
This year, Chating Town has carefully prepared rich and vibrant cultural tourism activities, offering visitors the opportunity to have an in-depth experience of dining and entertainment amid a sea of blooming flowers. A flower field-themed program, designed in collaboration with the Changsha Symphony Orchestra, the Changsha Flower-drum Opera Protection and Inheritance Center, and the Changsha Hunan Opera Protection and Inheritance Center, will be staged at the opening ceremony of the festival on March 15. From March 16 to 17, tourists have chances to enjoy two art performances by the Wangcheng District Flower-drum Opera Troupe and experience the passionate atmosphere of the 4th Flower Field Music Festival. Meanwhile, Chating Town has set up 10 photo spots at Tanjiayuan and Jiufengshan villages. After exploring a designated number of photo spots, tourists can receive exquisite small gifts at the tourist service center. Other activities include aesthetic education classes, outdoor family tours, cycling through the flower fields, themed camping experiences, and social gatherings for making new friends.
