Hunan Products Honored at World Forestry Industry Conference

The First World Forestry Industry Conference was held earlier in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Hunan's seven forestry products stood out of more than 20,000 exhibits, winning several gold, silver, and bronze prizes.
Held by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the regional government of Guangxi, the event attracted 115,000 visits. Seventeen enterprises from 13 cities and one prefecture around Hunan Province participated in the event, displaying nine authorized "Hunan tea oil" brand products and more than 80 bamboo products in 13 categories as substitutes for plastics such as bamboo knives, forks, and spoons, bamboo skateboards, and bamboo flooring.

Based on expert reviews, the Hunan Forestry Bureau won the Best Organization Award; the Hunan Pavilion won the Best Design Award; the Hunan Tianhua Tea-oil Camellia Technology Co., Ltd. won the Grand Prize in the category of Woody Grain and Oil and Understory Economy Products for its "Xiangtianhua Tea-oil"; the Hunan Dawei Bamboo Co., Ltd. and the Change Bamboo and Wood Industrial Co., Ltd. won the Gold Prizes in bamboo and wood processing and customized furniture respectively; the MEEJY Camellia Oil Co., Ltd., the Hunan Linzhishen Linyun Oil-Tea Camellia Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd., the Hunan Fengyuan Sport Technology Co., Ltd., and the Hunan Yang Ming Zhu Yong Technology Co., Ltd. won silver and bronze prizes respectively.
