China's first Ride-hailing Drivers Fitness Competition kicked off in Changsha on January 7, 2024. Dozens of ride-hailing drivers aged between 25 and 55 from around the province participated.
Relying on intelligent fitness facilities, the drivers competed in the climbing, rowing, and spinning programs, and were ranked based on their total scores. The difficulty levels of the programs were differentiated according to the participators' physical conditions and genders.
The competition was guided by the Hunan Social Sports Guidance and Service Center and the Hunan Institute of Sport Science, and organized by sport facility companies and a ride-hailing company.
