The 2023 Hunan Intangible Cultural Heritage Tourism New Year's Fair kicked off on Yanghu Water Street, Changsha on December 29. Nearly 100 Hunan intangible cultural heritage brands were brought together, selling New Year goods and putting on wonderful shows.

Based on Hunan's rich intangible heritage resources, this fair adheres to the concept that people's intangible cultural heritage is jointly created and shared by the people. It is positioned as an event of "intangible cultural heritage + tourism", "intangible cultural heritage + industry" and "intangible cultural heritage + performing arts", with a focus on intangible cultural heritage-themed fairs and city night tours. Through a variety of intangible cultural heritage demonstrations and performing arts activities, the event will allow people to enjoy the unique charm of Hunan culture, feel the power of intangible cultural heritage inheritance and development, and experience the deep integration of intangible cultural heritage and tourism.

In addition to the fair, there are special zones for New Year goods sales, exhibition, publicity, and interaction. Creative learning sites themed "following the master to learn intangible cultural heritage" are set up on Yanghu Water Street. Intangible cultural heritage masters will instruct citizens and tourists in making intangible cultural heritage products every day, so that people can get close to and fall in love with Hunan intangible cultural heritage.

Consumption coupons worth 10,000 yuan will be issued. People can get the coupons through an on-site lottery system at the Central Square of Yanghu Water Street between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., from December 29 to 31.
