On August 24, the middle-season rice has gradually ripened while the late-season rice has grown vigorously in Miaoqian Town, Changning City. The vast yellow and green paddy fields add radiance and beauty to each other under the blue sky and white clouds. In recent years, the city has promoted comprehensive land consolidation; upgraded high-standard farmland; and, established a characteristic agricultural industrial chain featuring crop production and marketing, agriculture-culture-tourism, industry-academia-research, and other functions.
