Death toll from Sri Lanka's blasts rises to 207, over 450 injured

Multiple blasts in Sri Lanka on Sunday have claimed at least 207 lives and wounded 450 others, Sri Lankan police said.

斯里兰卡警方4月21日表示，该国当天发生的系列爆炸已造成至少207人死亡，超过450人受伤。

Altogether eight explosions have ripped through the country, with six blasts hitting in the morning and two in the afternoon.

斯警方称，该国当天共发生了8起爆炸案，其中6起发生在上午，2起发生在下午。

A curfew has been imposed from 6 pm Sunday to 6 am on Monday.

The Sri Lankan government has also imposed a temporary ban on social media to prevent the spread of false information.

斯里兰卡当局宣布，从当地时间4月21日18时至22日早6时，斯里兰卡全岛实施宵禁，并关闭社交媒体和通讯服务，以防止虚假信息扩散。

At least 13 people have been arrested in connection with the blasts, the Sri Lankan government said.

Two Chinese nationals were also confirmed dead from the explosions, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo said. (Xinhua)
