Jinggang Ancient Town

Jinggang Ancient Town is a famous historic and cultural town in Hunan Province. In December 2011, it was awarded as a national 4A-level tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration.

靖港古镇是湖南省著名的历史文化名镇。2011年12月，它被国家旅游局评为国家4A级旅游景点。

Jinggang Ancient Town is located in the northwest of Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, adjacent to the Xiangjiang River in the east, and facing Tongguan Town across the river.

靖港古镇位于湖南省长沙市望城区西北，东濒湘江，与铜官镇隔江相望。

Jinggang used to be a prosperous commercial port for material distribution in the province, reputed as "Little Hankou".

靖港古镇曾是全省物资流通繁华的商埠，素有“小汉口”之称。

The significance of Jinggang ancient town originates from her long history. Jinggang has a history of one thousand years or more. The name of the town came from commemoration of General Li Jing of the Tang Dynasty.

靖港古镇的意义源远流长。靖港古镇有一千多年的历史，这个城镇的名字来源于对唐代李靖将军的纪念。
