A TOTAL of 112,000 travelers had crossed the border at West Kowloon Station Checkpoint in the first two days after the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail line started operation Sunday on 23th September.

在开始通车的星期日，共有42,000名旅客乘坐火车前往香港，并有33,000名入境旅客在西九龙铁路总站在“一地两检”下过关检查。

On the opening day Sunday, 42,000 travelers took trains to Hong Kong and 33,000 inbound travelers went through the joint checkpoint at the West Kowloon rail terminus under the co-location inspection arrangement.

根据深圳出入境边防检查站的统计数据，周一是中秋节假期的最后一天，到下午6点，旅客人数略有下降至37,000人。

On Monday, the last day of the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday for mainlanders, the number of travelers had slightly dropped to 37,000 by 6 p.m., according to statistics from Shenzhen General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection.
