A tea party was held in Changsha on September 28 to greet the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday. Wu Guiying, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, joined representatives from all walks of life to celebrate the festival and discuss the blueprint for development.

Municipal leaders and veteran comrades including Tan Yong, Luo Zuanji, Chen Gang, Peng Huasong, Liu Hui, Zou Te, Wang Lisheng, Jian Yongchao, and Yao Wuling also attended.

On behalf of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee, the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal People's Congress, the Changsha Municipal People's Government, the CPPCC Changsha Municipal Committee and the Changsha Garrison Command, Secretary Wu Guiying extended festive greetings to democratic parties, federations of industry and commerce, personages without party affiliation, people's organizations, cadres, and the public. She also acknowledged the efforts of people from all walks of life working on all fronts, and thanked friends, old and new, for their care and support for Changsha's construction and development.
