The 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo is set to open in Changsha on June 12. On June 1, the expo's organizing committee announced that over 2,800 Chinese and African enterprises, business associations, and financial institutions have registered for this year's event, marking a 35% increase from the previous expo. The scale of exhibitors has reached a new high.

Among Africa's 54 countries, 44 have confirmed participation, accounting for over 80%. Among them, five countries—the Republic of Congo, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, and Nigeria—will serve as guest countries of honor, setting up specially designed booths to showcase their national images and key industries. Additionally, 20 African countries, including Uganda, Zambia, and Tanzania, will establish national image pavilions.

Leading African enterprises such as Kenya Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, and Huajian International Light Industry City, top Chinese equipment manufacturing companies like Sany and Zoomlion, and prominent African financial institutions such as the China-Africa Development Fund, the African Export-Import Bank, Standard Bank (South Africa), and First Bank of Nigeria, will participate in the expo. Major domestic financial institutions, including the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, Bank of Communications, and Export-Import Bank of China, will also attend.

This year's expo closely aligns with industrial demands in both China and Africa, introducing for the first time several specialized exhibition sections for renowned brands of China-Africa cooperation, quality African products, and the China-Africa fashion industry. Over 800 distinctive products, such as Namibian chili sauce, Kenyan malachite bracelets, and South African red wine, will be showcased, covering categories like food, handicrafts, jewelry, and more. Visitors can experience the diverse charm and unique allure of the African continent without leaving the country.

The organizing committee introduced that the main exhibition hall at the Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center covers 100,000 square meters, adopting a "six halls and one zone" professional layout. Aligned with Africa's core development priorities—industrialization, agricultural modernization, and green growth—the expo will establish specialized zones for smart mining technology and equipment, clean energy, energy conservation, environmental protection, modern agricultural machinery, and engineering equipment, creating a "real-life map" of China-Africa industrial collaboration.
