湖南日报·新湖南客户端6月1日讯（记者 冯宇轩 实习生 伍一帆 洪澜）5月31日，在湖南湘江新区国际科技商务平台，中英两国企业开展了一场“双向奔赴”的座谈会，旨在深化中英之间的经贸合作，促进双方在多个领域的交流与合作。现场同时举行了英中商业发展中心湖南代表处的揭牌仪式。

湖南湘江新区-英中商业发展中心企业交流座谈会上，湘江新区财政金融局向与会者推介了湖南湘江新区金融业的发展情况及合作需求。渣打银行代表介绍了英国金融机构如何协助中国企业在海外融资上市。中英两国企业代表分别介绍特色业务，表达合作意向，诚意满满。

英中商业发展中心（CUKBDC）总部位于英国伦敦，是一家致力于促进中英两国双向科技创新、经贸合作、技术交易、文化教育交流和投资服务的机构。湖南拥有独特的地理位置和资源优势，与英国在多个领域都存在着合作机遇，其湖南代表处的设立将积极推动双方在教育、科技、文化、旅游等领域的合作。

在揭牌仪式上，英中商业发展中心主席约翰·麦克莱恩（John Mclean OBE）介绍了中心的宗旨和未来发展规划。他随嘉宾们一同参观了英中商业发展中心湖南代表处，办公室墙上挂着一幅幅中英人士的合影，他如数家珍，微笑着向众人讲述中英交往的深厚情谊。接受记者采访时，约翰·麦克莱恩先生表示，这是第二次来到湖南，湖南已成为他工作和生活的一部分，他希望鼓励更多英国人来湖南长沙看看。他还提到，英中商业发展中心的使命是“搭建桥梁”，随着中英两国关系地不断深化，中英合作将迎来更加广阔的前景。

据悉，近年来湘江新区已经成功引进了德国巴斯夫、瑞典宜家等知名外企，并成功举办了多个国际经贸交流活动，如“中欧生命科学论坛”和“2023首届湘欧经贸促进洽谈周”。此次湖南湘江新区-英中商业发展中心企业交流座谈会和英中商业发展中心湖南代表处的成立，为推动贸易投资、技术协同、金融互惠、文化交流等领域深入国际合作，提供了有利契机和重要平台。

长沙市委副书记、湖南湘江新区（长沙高新区）党工委书记、岳麓区委书记谭勇在英中商业发展中心湖南代表处揭牌仪式上致辞。今年4月，谭勇带领湘江新区政府及企业代表团赴英国交流学习，得到了英中商业发展中心的友好接待，“相知无远近，万里尚为邻”,英中商业发展中心代表团此行来访以及湖南代表处的成立，将进一步推动双方加深了解、增进感情、增强互信。

On May 31, at the International Science and Technology Business Platform in Xiangjiang New Area, Hunan, enterprises from China and the UK held a "mutual engagement" symposium aimed at deepening economic and trade cooperation and promoting exchanges and collaborations in various fields. The event also featured the inauguration ceremony of the Hunan Representative Office of the China UK Business Development Center.

At the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area-UK China Business Development Center Enterprise Exchange Symposium, the Finance and Financial Affairs Bureau of Xiangjiang New Area introduced the development and cooperation needs of the financial industry in the area to the attendees. A representative from Standard Chartered Bank explained how British financial institutions assist Chinese enterprises in overseas financing and listing. Representatives from Chinese and British enterprises showcased their unique businesses, expressing strong intentions for cooperation.

Headquartered in London, the UK-China Business Development Center (CUKBDC) is dedicated to fostering bilateral technological innovation, economic and trade cooperation, technology transactions, cultural and educational exchanges, and investment services between China and the UK. Hunan's unique geographical location and resource advantages offer significant cooperation opportunities with the UK in various fields. The establishment of the Hunan Representative Office will actively promote collaboration in education, technology, culture, tourism, and other sectors.

During the inauguration ceremony, John Mclean OBE, Chairman of the China UK Business Development Center, introduced the center's mission and future development plans. He, along with other guests, toured the Hunan Representative Office, where photographs of Sino-British interactions adorned the walls. He shared stories of the deep friendship between China and the UK. In our interview, Mr. Mclean mentioned this was his second visit to Hunan, which has become an integral part of his work and life. He hopes to encourage more British people to visit Changsha, Hunan. He also emphasized that the mission of the China UK Business Development Center is to "build bridges," and with the deepening of Sino-British relations, there are vast prospects for cooperation.

In recent years, Xiangjiang New Area has successfully attracted well-known foreign enterprises such as Germany's BASF and Sweden's IKEA and has hosted several international economic and trade exchange activities like the "Sino-European Life Sciences Forum" and the "2023 First Xiang-Europe Economic and Trade Promotion Week." The Hunan Xiangjiang New Area-China UK Business Development Center Enterprise Exchange Symposium and the establishment of the Hunan Representative Office provide favorable opportunities and an important platform for promoting international cooperation in trade, investment, technological collaboration, financial reciprocity, and cultural exchanges.

At the inauguration ceremony, Tan Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Changsha Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Hunan Xiangjiang New Area (Changsha High-tech Zone), and Secretary of the Yuelu District Party Committee, delivered a speech. In April this year, Tan Yong led a delegation of government and enterprise representatives from Xiangjiang New Area to the UK for exchange and learning, receiving a warm reception from the UK-China Business Development Center. "True friends are never apart, even if they are thousands of miles away." The visit of the China UK Business Development Center delegation and the establishment of the Hunan Representative Office will further enhance mutual understanding, strengthen ties, and build trust between the two sides.
