Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town to Launch China-chic Fireworks Festival, Hanfu Cultural Festival

During the upcoming May Day holiday, the Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town China-chic Paradise will hold the 5th China-chic Fireworks Festival and the 2nd Hanfu Cultural Festival. Eight theme events here will bring visitors back to the Tang Dynasty, including a Hanfu show, a fish-shaped lantern parade, a Tang-style music banquet, fireworks displays, and China-chic performances.

The fish-shaped lantern parade is a national intangible cultural heritage. Led by three 2-meter-long giant fish lanterns, over 100 performers wearing Hanfu costumes will parade through ancient Tang-style alleyways in Tongguan Kiln Ancient Town.

In addition, traditional cultural programs also include over 50 immersive performances and interactive activities.

From May 1 to 5, 30-meter-high waterfall-like cold fireworks will be shown for the first time. The fireworks will pour down from the Shizhu Tower in the center of a lake, creating the illusion of the Silver River descending from the sky.
