The expressway starts from Qingjiawu, Qingshan Township, Xinhua County, connecting to the completed Huhhot-Beihai Expressway Langtang-Qingjiawu section. It ends at Laorenchong located in southern Xinning County, linking the completed Huhhot-Beihai Expressway section between Xinning and Hunan-Guizhou boundary. The main line is 192.3 kilometers in length. Despite the Qingming Festival holiday, the project builders remained dedicated to their work, putting in their best efforts to ensure that the expressway opens as scheduled for traffic.
