A grand AR drama entitled "Qu Yuan" will be premiered at Changsha Fantawild Oriental Heritage Theme Park on April 4.

The drama is adapted from renowned poems by Qu Yuan, including Li Sao (The Sorrow of Parting), Jiu Ge (Nine Songs), and Tian Wen (Questions to Heaven). Qu Yuan, a prominent figure in traditional Chinese culture, serves as the inspiration for the story as it portrays his tumultuous life. The production integrates high-tech stage effects with live-action performance through hologram technology. A fantastic world full of verses will be presented to the audience by using wash painting style and dynamic effects. The live-action show aims to reflect the poet's great patriotism and fully showcase the charm of Chu culture.

A Chu culture-themed activity will be held between April 4 and 6 to offer tourists immersive experiences. Various activities will be arranged, including interactions with non-player characters (NPCs), a parade, a literati gathering, trying on Warring States-era robes, and a fireworks show.

The park is offering preferential tickets through its Douyin livestreaming room and official WeChat account of "Changsha Fantawild [长沙方特]" from March 31 to April 5. The night ticket is priced from 99 yuan per person and the whole-day ticket is priced at 199 yuan per person. The park will be a good option for tourists during the Qingming Festival.
