3月24日，来自长沙各高校52名不同肤色的留学生齐聚中南大学，开展了一场独具特色的无偿献血活动。他们共捐献爱心血液2万毫升，还身穿民族服装在献血车前载歌载舞，吸引更多人关注无偿献血。

On March 24, 52 international students from around world and various universities in Changsha gathered at the Central South University (CSU) for a unique voluntary blood donation campaign. They donated a total of 20,000 ml of blood. They also wore national costumes, sang, and danced in front of the blood donation bus to attract attention.

“I like China very much and hope to make some contribution to Changsha, my second home.” The first person to get on the bus was an African student at CSU. After filling out the necessary form and passing the physical examination, he told the nurse that this was not his first time to donate blood, and he hoped to donate 400 ml this time.

“我很喜欢中国，希望能为第二故乡长沙做一点贡献。”第一个走上献血车的是就读于中南大学的非洲籍留学生罗拉。罗拉熟练地填写了无偿献血征询表，顺利通过初筛体检后告诉采血护士，他已经不是第一次献血了，希望能献400毫升。

"I have been fond of China since I was a child and have been trying to learn Chinese. Now I come to Changsha with my husband for further study. I hope to live in China in the future." said a graduate student at CSU from Mongolia, in standard Mandarin. She had donated blood in her own country before. Now she is very happy to help her Chinese friends and will continue to do so.

“我从小喜欢中国，一直努力学习中文，现在和丈夫一起来长沙深造，希望将来一直在中国生活。”来自蒙古国的甘巴塔在中南大学读研究生，她用标准的普通话说，她在祖国也参加过无偿献血，如今能用自己的爱心帮助到中国朋友特别开心，会一直坚持下去。

"I’m Lesha. Do you need an interpreter? I majored in Chinese-English translation,” said an international student from Russia, whose Chinese name is Lesha (Short for “Happy in Changsha” in Chinese). He would run to ask if the volunteers need help whenever he saw an international student stop at the bus, and warmly introduced his Chinese name. Lesha also donated 400 ml of blood after finishing volunteer service.

“我是乐沙，你们需要翻译吗?我学的是中英翻译专业。”帅小伙乐沙来自俄罗斯，只要看到有留学生在献血车前驻足，他就会跑过去询问是否需要帮助，并热情地介绍自己“我生活在长沙很快乐，所以给自己取名乐沙”。做完志愿服务后，乐沙也献血400毫升。
