近日，2025年中国美人鱼泳池联赛（长沙站）暨全国美人鱼泳池U系列赛（长沙站）在浏阳市体育运动中心游泳馆开赛。本次赛事为期2天，吸引了来自全国各地的百余名选手参与，其中青少年与儿童选手占比达90%。

“刚开始的时候好紧张，后面就感觉放松了很多。以前成绩是29秒多，这次希望我可以游进29秒以内，争取拿到前6名。”在参加了少年乙组女子50米水面竞速的角逐后，13岁的长沙选手钟子欣表示，“我学习游泳近三年，感觉参加美人鱼比赛可以给我带来很多情绪价值，然后大家又可以锻炼身体，同场竞技时也可以交一些朋友。”钟子欣介绍，周围也有很多同龄人喜欢看美人鱼表演，“就像cosplay，大家可以模仿，成为一条美人鱼，很有意思。同时，参与竞速的话，可以培养自己的争胜心，让自己奋力向前。”

美人鱼运动作为近年来兴起的时尚水上项目，以其独特的艺术表现力与竞技魅力受到越来越多青少年喜爱。长沙市体育产业管理开发中心相关负责人介绍，美人鱼泳池赛事作为一项集专业性、观赏性、趣味性于一体的水上运动，不仅展现了运动员的柔美与力量，更是体育与文化深度融合的生动体现。（来源：新湖南）

Recently, the 2025 China Mermaid Swimming Pool League (Changsha Station) & the National Mermaid Swimming Pool U Series Competition (Changsha Station) commenced at the Swimming Pool of Liuyang City Sports Center. The two-day event drew over a hundred participants from across the country, with youth and children making up 90% of the competitors.

My previous time was over 29 seconds, and this time I hope to break 29 seconds and aim for a top-six finish.” After competing in the Junior B Girls' 50-meter surface sprint event, 13-year-old Changsha athlete Zhong Zixin stated, “I've been learning to swim for nearly three years, and I feel participating in mermaid competitions can bring me a lot of emotional fulfillment. Plus, everyone gets to exercise, and you can make friends while competing together.” Ms. Zhong Zixin mentioned that many of her peers also enjoy watching mermaid performances, “Just like cosplay, everyone can imitate and become a mermaid—it's quite fun. At the same time, participating in races can cultivate your competitive spirit, pushing you to strive forward.”

Mermaid swimming, as a trendy aquatic activity that has gained popularity in recent years, is increasingly favored by young people for its unique artistic expression and competitive appeal.
