On August 25, a delegation from the Cultural and Environmental Committee of the Gumi City Council in South Korea visited the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal People's Congress. Kang Seung-soo, member of the Cultural and Environmental Committee of the Gumi City Council; Wang Yuhui, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal People's Congress; and, Miao Chenguang, secretary-general of the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal People's Congress, participated in the related activities.

The delegation visited sites such as the Constitution Wall, the Grassroots Legislative Contact Station of the National People's Congress, the Exhibition Hall on the History of the Changsha Municipal People's Congress, and the meeting room of the Standing Committee of the Changsha Municipal People's Congress. They learned about the efforts to advance the high-quality development of people's congress work and self-improvement. Subsequently, both sides exchanged views on legislative work, environmental supervision, and friendly exchanges.

Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening exchanges between the Changsha Municipal People's congress and the Gumi City Council and deepen their friendship. The next step will involve signing a memorandum of friendly cooperation to establish a long-term mechanism for exchanges and cooperation. The two sides will learn from each other's experiences and practices, jointly boosting the economic and social development of Changsha and Gumi.
