On September 23, Longping Rice Park in Mingyue Village, Lukou Town, Changsha County launched its 2025 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival celebrations under the theme of "Celebrating Harvest, Boosting Science Popularization". A grand event integrating agricultural technology, cultural inheritance, and industry revitalization kicked off.
Around 500 people gathered at the park, including industry experts from the Hunan Association for Science and Technology, faculty and students from science and technology backyards, school teachers and students, and representatives from agricultural enterprises. In the 1,500-mu (100-hectare) core area of the park, 410 varieties of high-quality rice stretched out across the fields, swaying in the autumn breeze, forming a vast golden sea.
The event not only showcased the agricultural achievements of Lukou Town but also served as an important platform for advancing rural revitalization.
